Buying artwork

How can I purchase an original Sara Paxton painting?

You can buy Sara’s original paintings from any of her partner galleries, or selected originals directly from the online shop. Many of the partner galleries hold regular exhibitions of her work.

Can I commission a painting, and what does it cost?

Yes. As a rough guide, works range from around A$2,000 for a 92 x 92cm painting up to about A$3,800 for a 180 x 85cm painting, with all shapes, sizes and prices in between.

Please get in touch with details of similar paintings you like, the size you’re after and an image if possible, or email info@sarapaxtonartworks.com.

Can I order prints of Sara’s artwork?

Yes, in most cases prints can be ordered of any painting. They are individually produced on high-quality archival paper using archival inks. Just contact Sara with your request.

What is the difference between an original painting and a print?

Delivery and returns

Do you ship paintings, and how long does it take?

Yes. Shipping is free within Australia and usually takes 5–10 business days. International shipping is available and usually takes 10–20 business days; the rate is shown at checkout.

Can I return my painting?

Paintings purchased from the website are not refundable for change of mind, so please get in touch before you buy if you have any questions about size, colour or framing.

How do I find out when exhibitions are coming up?

Upcoming shows are listed on the Exhibitions page and on Sara’s Facebook page. You can also sign up to the newsletter to hear about new work and exhibitions first.

Yes. Sara’s blog posts often cover different aspects of painting, with advice and techniques you can try.
