Sara Paxton Artworks (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through sarapaxtonartworks.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

We only collect information that you give us or that is needed to run the website and online shop:

  • Contact and enquiry forms – your name, email address and message.
  • Newsletter and free guide sign-ups – your name and email address.
  • Orders – your name, email, phone number, billing and delivery address, and order details. Payments are processed securely by PayPal; we never see or store your card details.
  • Website usage – basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar tools (see below).

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiries and provide information about paintings, commissions and exhibitions.
  • To process, deliver and follow up on orders.
  • To send our newsletter and exhibition news, if you have subscribed. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To keep the website secure, prevent spam and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Services we use

We use trusted third-party services to run the website. They only receive the information they need to provide their service:

  • WooCommerce – online shop and order management.
  • PayPal – payment processing.
  • Mailchimp – newsletter delivery and sign-up forms.
  • Google reCAPTCHA – protects our forms from spam.
  • Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics – anonymous website statistics.
  • Wordfence – website security, which may log IP addresses to block attacks.
  • Our web host and backup service – store the website and its backups securely.

Some of these providers may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. Each provider has its own privacy policy.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies – small files stored in your browser – to keep your shopping cart working, remember your preferences, protect our forms and collect anonymous usage statistics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site (such as the cart and checkout) may not work without them.

Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including secure (HTTPS) connections, security software and regular backups. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it, or as required by law (for example, tax records for orders).

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
