For the last few months I’ve had my head down, paintbrush in hand, getting work ready for my imminent exhibition at Without Pier Gallery in Melbourne.
Finally, I’ve emerged triumphant at the other end of 32 paintings. It was a huge task that involved painting all day, most days and after I’d worked out the short time frame it seemed almost insurmountable.
But there’s nothing like a bit of pressure to whip the paintbrushes into action. Hence the lack of any posts lately. However, the paintings are now all completed, dried, varnished and lined up ready to be delivered next week.
The content is varied but I’ve done a few different themes this time, including some cows!
The exhibition opens on 6 May at Without Pier’s Cheltenham gallery.
